Leggett & Platt, the world's largest electric adjustable bed
manufacturer has purchased Orthomatic of Florida.
Orthomatic will continue to sell beds under the
Orthomatic® brand name and
operate as a separate unit. Leggett & Platt will add Orthomatic®
to its stable of electric bed brands.
Leggett & Platt manufactures beds for Craftmatic as
well as making the S-Cape, Lifestyles, Adjusta-Magic, Pro-Motion,
InComfort and Maxwell bed models.
Leggett & Platt has announced that it will import the
RÖWA brand from its European partner in
Germany.
These RÖWA beds will be of
European design and have a third motor to allow a chase lounge position.
